Itching to get crafty, but stumped for ideas? Find inspiration in the library catalog! »
It’s that time again – we’re seeking donations of handcrafted items to sell to benefit the library at our Booktique sale this October (sale dates Saturday 10/19 – Saturday 10/26)! Do you create striking wall art? Delicately illustrated greeting cards? Adorable crocheted animal friends? Whichever craft(s) are dear to your heart, we hope you’ll share the love with us by donating some of your completed projects in support of library operations.
Bring your donations to our service desk any time during open hours from Tuesday 9/3 through Saturday 10/12. We will ask you to provide your contact information and a description, quantity, and suggested price for each item. You can print and complete a form with this information ahead of time, or fill one out at the library.
Questions? Call the library at 503-259-0185, or email Community Engagement Specialist Maggie at maggieh@alohalibrary.org.
Thank you for your support!
The fine print:
- All items should be handcrafted or upcycled, and appropriate to display at a family-friendly event. No homemade foods, sorry!
- Suggested prices are suggestions only and the library may choose to set other prices at its discretion.
- Items that remain unsold at the end of the Booktique will be retained by the library and may be sold at future events or otherwise utilized to benefit the library.
- ALL sale proceeds – 100%! – will benefit library services in our community.
