Get a Library Card

Interested in getting a library card? We are not currently offering walk-in library services, but we can still help get you connected with a new card! Follow the steps below to gain access to over 2 million books, movies, audiobooks, information and more through your local Washington County libraries.

  • Apply for an online library card (E-Access card) to get immediate access to download e-books and audiobooks, and access online resources.
  • To receive a General library card that allows for check-out of physical material, contact the library by phone at 503-259-0185.
  • Aloha Library is offering holds pickup for items that have been placed on hold that are ready to be checked out. When you arrive for your first hold pickup after registering for a library card, we will include your new card with your order. Please bring your photo ID so we can confirm your identity before issuing your new card.
  • More information about our current services can be found here.

Your library card allows you to use all Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) member libraries.  Each member library’s hours and check out procedures vary, so please visit the COVID-19 updates page for more information about the services provided at other Washington County Libraries before visiting.

Library cards are free to residents of Washington, Multnomah, Clackmas, and Hood River counties in Oregon, and in the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District or the City of Camas in Washington.
