Read for a Cause Winter Reading Challenge

Join our Read for a Cause Winter Reading Challenge between  December 16 and January 31 to earn books for local children and families in need. For every 50 hours read, we’ll give away 50 books to our community partners at the Oregon Department of Human Services. Our goal is to read 500 hours to earn 500 books for DHS!

Reading trackers will be available starting Monday, December 16 at the library (or by printable PDF here). Kids of all ages are welcome to participate — any time spent reading, being read to, or listening to a book counts! Turn in as many trackers as you want, but make sure your trackers are returned by no later than Friday, January 31 to be counted toward the total. Let’s beat the challenge and help support our community!

All books earned as a result of the challenge will be donated to the Oregon Department of Human Services foster care program to benefit local children this holiday season. Thank you for supporting our community!
