Toddler and Preschool Storytime will be on a short break at the beginning of September. Both will resume the week of the 16th, along with our NEW monthly evening Pajama Storytime on September 17th. Check the calendar for details!

Summer Reading Ends Soon
Summer reading at the Aloha Community Library comes to an end soon, but there’s still time to read and claim your prizes! Visit the library between now and Saturday, August 31 to return your reading log and pick up a FREE book and other goodies. Whether you’ve met your goals or not, we’d love to see what you’ve been reading this summer! See what cool prizes are in store if you submit your reading log before September 1st here.
All Summer Reading participants between ages 0 and 18 who submit a completed Aloha Library reading log from August 1st through the 31st are eligible to enter a prize drawing for 4 free tickets to a Portland Trail Blazers pre-season home game in 2019, while teens entering 6th through 12th grade who submit a completed reading log can enter to win 2 tickets to the Literary Arts Portland Arts & Lecture Series or 2 tickets to the 2020 Verselandia! poetry slam in April. Fill out an entry form to win!
Summer Fun Raffle Winners
Thank you to the many library supporters who purchased 214 raffle tickets for a chance to win one of our Summer Fun baskets! You raised over $300 to support library operations, like purchasing new books and movies, offering programs for all ages, and employing our professional, amazing staff.

A FREE Portland Trail Blazers ticket for a 2019-20 eligible October or November game:
- One adult ticket (300 level Tan) must be purchased at time of redemption, with options to upgrade tickets available.

- Kids ages 5 – 12 may use a FREE child’s admission ticket to the 2019 Oregon State Fair.
- Teens ages 13 to 18 may use a 2-for-1 adult admission ticket to the 2018 Oregon State Fair (this requires an $8 adult admission ticket co-purchase at time of redemption).
