Learn about the profound narratives that informed the new book, Tribal Histories of the Willamette Valley from its author, David G. Lewis, PhD. He will share Native perspectives that do not appear in other history books, gathered from years of excavating historical documents and personally collecting oral histories.

This presentation will also include a section on his latest research. Compiled after the book’s publication, it focuses on the relationship between people and their environment, and how each has effected meaningful change in the other.
