Learn to make macrame plant hangers from a local fiber artist with 10 years of experience! Pick up a kit at the library and watch the accompanying video to learn all of the most useful macrame knots, gain an understanding of some possible variations, and talk about the basic principles to allow you to make your own unique plant hanger. Kits will have all necessary supplies, including some colorful yarn for students who’d like to add a bit of extra pizzazz to their hangers. Available on a first come first served basis starting Monday, April 18 during open hours. For ages 11-18 only.
This program was made possible by a grant from the Cultural Coalition of Washington County (CCWC).
