What is an optical illusion? Optical illusions can use color, light and patterns to create images that can be deceptive or misleading to our brains. Explore and create your own optical illusions with our STEAM Take and Make! Scientists have worked very hard for many years to understand how optical illusions work, yet in many cases we still don’t know exactly how our brain and eyes work together to create these illusions. But who knows? Maybe you will grow up to be part of the research team that cracks the code!
Get your take and make from the library during curbside services, Monday-Wednesday, 3-6 pm, and Thursday-Saturday, 10 am-1 pm. Just walk up to the table in front of the library and let us know you’re there for a take and make!
