After inheriting her aunt’s house, Susie is excited to tackle the much-needed renovation project. Her excitement soon sours when her ex-boyfriend’s best friend, Lars, shows up as her contractor. After witnessing her embarrassing break-up, Lars is the last person Susie wants to work with.
