Need something to do during Spring Break? Drop in to learn about our feathered friends in the sky with hands on activities and demonstrations about birds from the knowledgeable nature experts of Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District. All ages welcome!


THURSDAY, JUNE 23 1:00 – 3:00PM

Learn about the flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest with the Nature Mobile and the knowledgeable experts from Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District. All ages welcome.

Due to scheduling conflicts with THPRD, this program has been cancelled. We hope to have the Nature Mobile back again soon, so check back later!


Nature Mobile: Critter Construction

WEDNESDAY JULY 29 12:00-2:00 PM

Whether it’s plowing out a den, building a house, or weaving beautiful silk, many animals are very talented! Learn about all of the amazing things animals create through hands-on activities and crafts from the THPRD Nature Mobile. Feel free to drop by the library anytime between 12:00 and 2:00 pm!

Nature Mobile: Birds

WEDNESDAY APRIL 15  3:00-5:00 PM

Stop by the Aloha Community Library any time between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to learn about the amazing world of birds! Dissect owl pellets to discover what an owl had for dinner, get up close with a real taxidermy owl, and see how birds use their beaks to eat different types of food.
