Holiday Concert

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 6:00-7:30PM

Come enjoy some live holiday music performed by local folk band Whitethorn Crossing! The concert will primarily feature traditional Christmas carols and wassail songs from the British Isles played on cello, fiddle, guitar, pennywhistle, and piano.

Hearts of the Dulcimer

THURSDAY, AUGUST 17, 6:30-8:30PM

Hearts of the Dulcimer is a feature-length documentary film about the mountain dulcimer boom in the 1970s on the West Coast and its lasting impact. Through colorful interviews, rare archival footage, and live performances, Hearts of the Dulcimer gives a firsthand account of living life in the counterculture, following one’s passion, and playing and building mountain dulcimers. A film by Patricia Delich and Wayne Jiang.

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band

Married couple Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis are the award-winning duo behind Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, a children’s music group dedicated to exploring the joys and wonders of being young with whimsical, indie-inspired music.

Join us for this free program hosted by Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, just across the parking lot from the Aloha Community Library.
