Part Time On-Call Circulation Clerk Position

The Aloha Community Library is a growing, dynamic public library that provides a wide range of services for the area’s residents. We are seeking two enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to serve as On-Call Circulation Clerks to help provide extra support and time off coverage for staff.  Library Clerk duties include providing patron assistance at the public service desk, online data entry, and check-in, check-out, and shelving of library materials.  Applicants must have graduated from an accredited high school or equivalent.  Refer to the job description for a comprehensive list of duties and qualifications.  This is a part time on-call position at 5 to 15 hours per week.  Applicants must be available to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends, sometimes on short-notice. Job Opening – Full Time Office Manager

Full Time Office Manager

Hourly Rate between $16.50-$18.00

The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking a motivated, self-directed Office Manager to join our team at the Aloha Community Library.

The Office Manager organizes and coordinates office administration and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support related tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, and supply ordering. This position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, the ability to work independently, and the enjoyment of working with a diverse group of people. The Office Manager candidate should have an Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the QuickBooks Online accounting software package. This is a full time position at 40 hours per week with benefits.

Part Time IT Specialist (4 – 8 hours per week)

The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking a knowledgeable and flexible IT Specialist to join our team!

Under the general direction of the Library Director, the IT Specialist provides operational support for all automated library functions and assists in planning and coordinating the computer-related needs of all departments.

The ideal candidate must be a successful problem solver with the ability to motivate and develop volunteer staff, and have advanced computer/technology skills. This job may require work scheduled during week days or nights and weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years’ experience in computer hardware and software support in a network environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
