The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking an experienced, flexible part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing organization.

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording and reporting all financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, budget preparation and cash flow projections, and IRS forms (Form 990, 1099). The position will work closely with the Office Manager, Library Director, and Board Treasurer in monitoring the budget and analyzing financial reports.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and accounting related tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable. A thorough understanding of QuickBooks and being willing to update financial operations within the library is a must. This position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, the ability to work independently, and the enjoyment of working with a diverse group of people.

The Aloha Community Library is a growing, dynamic public library that provides a wide range of services for the area’s residents. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Library Assistant II! Under the supervision of the Circulation Supervisor, the Library Assistant II partners with other employees and circulation volunteers to organize workloads and complete tasks; performs customer service and circulation duties; assists with reader’s advisory and basic reference questions; assists with staffing special programs; and is responsible for all aspects of specific special projects as assigned. This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Part Time On-Call Circulation Clerk Position

Hourly Rate between $10.00-12.00

The Aloha Community Library is a growing, dynamic public library that provides a wide range of services for the area’s residents. We are seeking two enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to serve as On-Call Circulation Clerks to help provide extra support and time off coverage for staff.  Library Clerk duties include providing patron assistance at the public service desk, online data entry, and check-in, check-out, and shelving of library materials.  Applicants must have graduated from an accredited high school or equivalent.  Refer to the job description for a comprehensive list of duties and qualifications.  This is a part time on-call position at 5 to 15 hours per week.  Applicants must be available to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends, sometimes on short-notice. Part Time IT Specialist (4 – 8 hours per week)

The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking a knowledgeable and flexible IT Specialist to join our team!

Under the general direction of the Library Director, the IT Specialist provides operational support for all automated library functions and assists in planning and coordinating the computer-related needs of all departments.

The ideal candidate must be a successful problem solver with the ability to motivate and develop volunteer staff, and have advanced computer/technology skills. This job may require work scheduled during week days or nights and weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years’ experience in computer hardware and software support in a network environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Full Time Circulation Supervisor

Hourly Rate between $16.50-$18.00

The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team at the Aloha Community Library.

The Circulation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the circulation activity of the Aloha Community Library, including establishing and upholding policies and procedures; supervising assigned staff and volunteers; working at the circulation and reference desk as needed; and providing technical support. Bachelor’s Degree required.  A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience working in a public library, a demonstrated customer-service orientation, and familiarity with automated integrated library systems preferred.  Bilingual in Spanish and English desirable.This is a full time position at 40 hours per week with benefits.
