We’re taking over the Community Area to make the biggest fort ever! Work with your friends to build structures from recycled boxes of all shapes and sizes.
All programs are free and open to the public. Ages 5+ recommended.
THURSDAY, MAY 19 3:30-5:00PM @ THE ANNEX
Come explore your creativity with Legos! Children and teens (ages 5-17) can spend the afternoon creating masterpieces out of the legendary, colorful building blocks! We’ll provide the Legos, you provide imagination! All materials must remain at the library for future programs. Bring a friend and build! Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
This program was made possible by the Cultural Coalition of Washington County.
Since the passage of Measure 34-235 in November 2015, the Aloha Community Library Association has been gearing up to join Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) as their newest member by Fall 2016. In order to provide the library services expected of a county library, the Aloha Community Library plans to move around the corner to our Annex space (between US World Class Taekwondo and Peppermill Restaurant). This new location will allow us to grow and thrive as your community library, providing room for an expanded collection, programming for all ages, interlibrary loans and the fulfillment of hold requests between member libraries, additional computers with internet connections, comfortable seating for studying, and much, much more.
