Learn About Villages Without Walls

Enjoy coffee, tea, refreshments and information about the Villages Without Walls  community in Washington County in a “Village 101” session presented by volunteer Glenda Sims.

What’s a “village” and what is the “village model?”

Village Without Walls is part of a rapidly growing national movement that makes it possible to age in our own neighborhood, in our own homes, using a network of volunteer support and reduced cost professional services. Villages are being formed in Beaverton and across the Portland Metro area.

Villages have sprung up across the nation. Now local volunteers are working to start one here in your community.

One of the best ways to learn about Village Without Walls is to attend a “Village 101” presentation with time for questions and answers.
