Library Assistant II – Youth Services – CLOSED
Pay Range: $13.50-$15.00/hour
The Aloha Community Library is a growing, dynamic public library that provides a wide range of services for the area’s residents. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Youth Services Library Assistant II to perform technical duties related to library services for children and teens, and to also carry out circulation duties. The Youth Services Library Assistant II assists in planning and presenting age appropriate library programs for children and teens; promotes library services to the community; maintains order of the children’s and teen areas; partners with other employees and volunteers to organize circulation workloads and complete tasks; provides outstanding customer service; assists with reader’s advisory and basic reference questions; and is responsible for special projects as assigned. This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.
