Happy Birthday, Aloha Library!

Have you heard? The Aloha Community Library is turning five! A group of generous library supporters is giving us a huge birthday present – a dollar for dollar match if we raise $15,000 by September 30! Just think. We could raise $30,000 (or more) by the end of this month! But we can only do it with your help.

Funds raised will support library operations. That sounds kind of boring, but it really means that we can continue to provide a clean, safe, well-lit, well-stocked, well-staffed public library with lots of great programs for our neighbors in Aloha!

We are about one-third of the way to our $15,000 goal! How can you get in on the fun?

  • Visit alohalibrary.org/donate.
  • Send a check made payable to ACLA to:
    PO Box 6561
    Aloha, OR 97078
  • Visit us at the library! You can donate cash or checks, or you can swipe your credit or debit card.
  •  Toss your spare change into our donation jar at the circulation desk.

Join us next Saturday, September 16, for a day-long birthday celebration!

  • Emmy Blue & The Squatchie, 11am
Get the party started with special guest Emmy Blue and her magical forest friend, the Squatchie! Share in Emmy’s adventures with songs, dancing, music, and smiles at this extra special birthday storytelling program
  • Cake & Conversation, 1pm
Learn more about the Aloha Community Library and how you can help us continue to grow and  thrive. Birthday festivities and treats to follow!
  • Character Meet & Greet, 1pm-3pm
Join some of your favorite characters to pose for photos and share in the birthday fun! Princess Belle, Princess Ariel, and more will be at the library to help us celebrate turning five!

As always, thank you for your support! We can’t do this without you!
