Family Board Game Day

SATURDAY, AUGUST 6 1:00-4:00PM

Drop in any time between 1:00 and 4:00pm at the library to enjoy a day of board game fun with your friends and family! Use the library’s selection of games (including Fluxx, Rummikub, Ticket to Ride, and more), or bring your own to share. All ages welcome!

Job Opening – Part Time IT Specialist CLOSED

Part Time IT Specialist (4 – 8 hours per week)

Hourly Rate between $13.00 – $15.00

The Aloha Community Library Association is seeking a knowledgeable and flexible IT Specialist to join our team!

Under the general direction of the Library Director, the IT Specialist provides operational support for all automated library functions and assists in planning and coordinating the computer-related needs of all departments.

The ideal candidate must be a successful problem solver with the ability to motivate and develop volunteer staff, and have advanced computer/technology skills. This job may require work scheduled during week days or nights and weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years’ experience in computer hardware and software support in a network environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a part-time position with no benefits. Refer to the Position Description for a comprehensive list of duties and qualifications.

THPRD: Wetland Wonderland

MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2:00PM

Drop in to explore plants and animals from the wetland with THPRD! Visitors will be able to discover aquatic macro-invertebrates through hands-on activities, learn about life-cycles, and understand some of the adaptations plants and animals have to survive in a wetland ecosystem.

This program is free and open to the public. All ages welcome!
